The Brufut FC Canarias Academy was launched on Wednesday with high profile guests from Spain and the locality at the Brufut Primary School.

The launch also witnessed the presentation of football materials by Mr. Habier Blanco, a Spanish national, which includes, 5 sets of jerseys, 25 track suits, 10 pairs of football boots, 100 training helmets, 100 training T. shirts, 4 sets of referee jerseys, caps and 2 sets of children’s jerseys.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Blance, the donor, said the materials are part of his contribution towards the development of grassroots football in the country.

“I believed that the academy will greatly support, improve and develop football in Brufut and it environs,” he added.
